Caring for your children’s teeth from an early age is of the utmost importance. Baby teeth or primary teeth help children to speak clearly and chew, they also pave the way for secondary teeth. Children’s teeth need to be looked after gently and carefully. By following a simple dental routine, you can help give your children healthy teeth and gums.
Oral hygiene is important in the early years to prevent tooth decay and gum disease. Regular Dental check-ups with your dentist and dental therapist help to prevent and treat decay before it causes any major issues.
Meet the bravest 5 year old we know!
Dr. Brian Gnesin was fortunate enough to meet a very brave five year old in 2017, when she walked into our Double Bay dental clinic.
Her baby teeth had been knocked out when she was younger, causing speech problems and affecting the correct functioning of her jaw and teeth alignment.
Dr. Gnesin and the team at Cooper Street Dental made her an upper partial denture, to help correct these issues and she's a totally different child now, with the biggest smile on her face!
