Porcelain Veneers

A porcelain veneer is a thin layer of porcelain which is made to cover the front surface of the tooth.

A Porcelain veneer can change the appearance of the existing tooth similar to the manner in which a false fingernail on a nail.

To begin, a thin layer (0.33mm) is removed from the tooth to create room for the veneer to fit. Our dentists will then discuss and plan with you through use of digital simulations and consulting, the perfect veneer for you. This veneer will then be designed by the dentist and expertly manufactured offsite. Once ready, the veneer will be permanently bonded to your tooth, leaving you with a new smile.

Many patients suffering dental problems such as discoloured, crooked or mal-positioned teeth are able to experience brilliant results with porcelain veneers. By using a porcelain compound, which is added to the tooth in a number of very fine layers, the appearance of a tooth can be significantly improved.
